Citing the research of the university’s first research scholar, University of Alberta professor and professor of political science and government affairs Stephen Clark says the best way to research and publish academic research is through crowdsourcing.
In a CBC News interview, Clark explains how he came up with the idea for his research notebook and how it was made available to the public.
“The first research project I did was to research what happened when you had a political party elected in Canada in the 1970s and 1980s,” said Clark, whose book Politics of Fear: How the Canadian Right Undermined Democracy was published in 2016.
“That project resulted in a book that I co-authored, Political Science and the Crisis of Democracy, and that book is now being used as a resource for research on how to counter the rise of the alt-right.”
“I also worked on a series of research projects about the politics of fear that were also published in a journal called Political Psychology, that focused on how we can use technology to engage in political discourse.”
The work in question was part of a larger project on the use of social media and information technology in the workplace, which Clark and his colleagues conducted using social media as a tool for conducting research.
He explains how it became part of his research project and why it became an academic research journal.
Clark says that by being able to make his research online, he was able to reach out to more people and share it with them. “
In my research, I had done some of the research that is currently used to inform policy, I also had some of that research published online and also the research which was part from that journal,” he added.
Clark says that by being able to make his research online, he was able to reach out to more people and share it with them.
“So the internet enabled me to reach a wider audience, to reach more people, and in fact I think it has really facilitated the research I’ve done over the last 10 years in politics that I’ve been involved in,” he said.
How do you use the internet to research? “
I was able because of that, the internet, to actually be able to work with people who really wanted to learn more about the research and to learn from it.”
How do you use the internet to research?
Clark says it can be difficult to do so if you’re just starting out and you don’t have the money to pay for a subscription to a website.
But when you do have the time, he says it is very easy to use social media to do research.
“People can do all kinds of things on Facebook and I think that is a really powerful thing for people to do,” he continued. “
“Facebook is not only a great way for people from all over the world to get together and interact, it is also a great place to find information that is relevant to their interests. “

“When you get an idea from someone, or a story from somebody, you know that it’s going to be of interest to a lot people, you just want to get their attention. “
So you can reach them by posting it on Facebook, or email, or Twitter and it’s really the power and the flexibility of social networks.” “

In an interview with CBC News last year, Clark explained how social media helped him to get to grips with his research and explain to a group of people how to better engage with the people around them.
His interview can be heard on the CBC News podcast The Political Science of Fear, which is available on iTunes, Google Play and Stitcher.
